Arezzo, October 3, 2025 – Giovanni Grasso: Defending and promoting emergency volunteering is my commitment to Tuscany
The candidate for "Casa Riformista – Eugenio Giani Presidente" presents four proposals related to associations and healthcare volunteering.
"The Red Cross, the White Cross, the Misericordie, and all the volunteer associations that work in emergencies represent the beating heart of our Tuscany," says Giovanni Grasso, candidate for President of the "Casa Riformista – Eugenio Giani" party. "Without them, the rescue system would not be the same: they guarantee professionalism, dedication, and humanity to thousands of citizens every day. This is why I am personally committed to ensuring this heritage is protected and supported. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to get to know the volunteers who wear the uniforms of the Red Cross, the White Cross, the Misericordie, and the many associations present in our region. I have seen in their eyes the passion, expertise, and sacrifice with which they work, often in silence, day and night. This commitment cannot be taken for granted: it must be recognized, supported, and valued.
This is why I am committed to promoting: greater financial and logistical support for relief organizations, simplified procedures for agreements and accreditations, projects for generational change, involving young people in volunteer activities, and a permanent roundtable with volunteers to listen to their needs and suggestions. I believe that the strength of our community lies precisely in its network of solidarity. Defending and strengthening the Red Cross, the White Cross, the Misericordie, and all the associations means investing in the safety, health, and social cohesion of Tuscany. It is a commitment I will carry forward with determination, because these volunteers deserve the utmost respect and support,” concludes Giovanni Grasso.
